Anton Galin

ANTON GALIN – producer, photo artist, designer.
Anton is engaged in synthetic types of fine arts – computer graphics, multimedia In experiments with photography, achieving expressiveness in photographs from nature. In his aesthetic searches, the author, at first glance, adheres to the canonical principles of old photography, and this is not without thoroughness, but in his concept there is a personal refraction of the lesson of the old masters. Vibration in images is his “trick”, so to speak, his understanding of photography as a conductor of art.

Was born in 1961 in Leningrad. He studied easel painting at the Hermitage School under Dlugach-Zaitsev and under Mark Tumin, Alexander and Sergei Daniel. In 1990 he graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theater Arts.
He is a participant in various festivals and exhibitions, the most significant of which are the International Film Festival ROTTERDAM, Con-Can film festival (Japan) Russian Museum / St. Petersburg (video installation for Tatyana Parfenova’s show), St. Petersburg / Central Exhibition Hall “MANEZH” MEDIA ART FEST 2000.
